About the Meeting

The GPNA and the GPPMA bi-annual meetings feature sessions on current pediatric practice management and pediatric nursing issues. There is an exhibition area with vendors who have products and services that are beneficial to pediatric staff.

Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre is a premier venue for Broadway shows, ballet, concerts, educational shows, family performances, opera, corporate meetings, and events. Conveniently located in northwest Atlanta, at 2800 Cobb Galleria Parkway at Akers Mill Road, adjacent to I-75 inside I-285.

Take Exit 258/Cumberland Boulevard off I-75. Go west on Cumberland Boulevard and take a right on Cobb Galleria Parkway. The Centre is at the intersection of Cobb Galleria Parkway and Akers Mill Road. Parking is available on site.

There is also an HOV exit from northbound I-75 and on-ramp to southbound I-75 at Akers Mill Road, adjacent to the Centre.

Cobb Energy Centre has 1,000 on-site parking spaces for performances and other events.

The on-site parking rate is $10.00 per vehicle and will be validated.

What is GPNA?

The Georgia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) established this organization in January 2005. Attendees of the Georgia Pediatric Nurses Association (GPNA) meeting are healthcare professionals who practice in pediatric practice, clinics, public health departments, and hospitals in Georgia. The GPNA holds bi-annual educational meetings for nurses and other clinical staff.

Who should attend GPNA meetings?

All interested healthcare professionals (nurses, medical assistants, etc.) are invited to attend this educational meeting. Content is tailored to the educational needs of clinical staff in a pediatric setting.

What is GPPMA?

In 1996, the Georgia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics approached pediatric practice managers to form a professional education and networking association. This group became the Georgia Pediatric Practice Managers Association (GPPMA).

Who should attend GPPMA meetings?

All practice or office managers, administrators, business staff and physicians are invited to attend these educational meetings.

Will practice managers receive a certificate of attendance?

Yes, a certificate of attendance can be emailed upon request.
