Please Donate
Thank you for your interest in donating to our Foundation. Foundation donors have the option of designating their contribution to the following:
- In Memory of Allison T. Rose, MD. Dr. Rose was a neonatologist at Emory University and a leader in the Chapter’s advocacy and breastfeeding efforts. She passed away in September, far too young, and has left a tremendous legacy at the Chapter who so benefitted from her dedication and leadership on these important issues. For a one-time gift, select “Donate Once Only” and please indicate “In memory of Dr. Allison Rose” in the “write a note” section.
- Hurricane Helene Relief: To provide support to practices affected by Hurricane Helene, which struck on September 26, the Foundation set up this special fund. Your support will help offer crucial assistance to members in impacted communities by this devastating natural disaster. Together, we can help rebuild and restore hope in the affected areas. For a one-time gift, select “Donate Once Only” and indicate “for Hurricane Helene Relief” in the “write a note” section.
- General Support: all other gifts to the Foundation not so designated as above, will be marked for general support of the Foundation’s work.
Contributions to the Endowment Campaign of the Pediatric Foundation of Georgia are tax deductible as allowed by law.
You will be taken to a secure payment system upon form submission. Monthly donations renew until terminated by the donor.
To make a customized pledge of $5,000 or more, please reach out to the Chapter office at 404-881-5091 or jcaceres-aponte@gaaap.org.

Complete of our $500,000 Goal
Endowment Campaign 2021-2024!
Raising a better future for Georgia’s children
Our Fund-Raising Goal…
In fall 2021 we launched the foundation Endowment Campaign 2021-2024. Our goal is to raise $500,000 to endow the foundation so that its charitable work can continue for decades to come. The campaign will conclude in the spring of 2024 when we will celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Georgia Chapter!
The Chapter’s Made the First Pledge…
To demonstrate our commitment to our fund drive, the Georgia Chapter has pledged $250,000 towards the goal, leaving the balance of $250,000 to be raised from Chapter members and our friends. That’s where you come in!
Help us reach our Endowment Goal…
In fall 2024 the Georgia Chapter will be celebrating their 70th Anniversay by hosting the 70th Anniversary Gala benefitting the Pedaitric Foundation of Georgia. The Gala has been postponed to Saturday March 8, due to the devestation of Hurricane Helene. The rescheduled event will still be at the Rennaissance Waverly Hotel in Atlanta GA.

Recent Foundation Grant Recipients…
Over the past two decades the foundation has made grant awards to so many wonderful non-profits who support Georgia’s children. Many of you we’re sure will know these organizations and can attest to the great work they do for kids in our state. And to fulfill the Foundation’s second mission, we make regular grants to support the pediatric interest groups and clubs at all the state’s medical schools. (Average Foundation grant amounts typically range between $1,000- $4,000.) We want our fair share of the “best and brightest” to enter pediatrics and carry on the mission and professional enrichment that pediatrics has given all of us who chose it.
Recent Foundation Grants Include the Following
- Extra Special People, Inc.
- DeKalb Library Foundation
- Camp Trach Me Away
- The Auditory-Verbal Center, Inc.
- Reach Out & Read
- Lowcountry Down Syndrome Society
- Camp Kudzu
- Pediatric Interest Groups at the state’s medical schools
- And many more
